The Best Home Tours and My Favorite Interior Crushes in 2017 – Abigail Nora

“Interior Crushes” and home tours are some of my favorite posts to write. Even if a space isn’t exactly my personal style and aesthetic, I’m always so inspired by how people make it their own.

Of course, I love every interior crush featured, but there are certain spaces and home tours that rise to the top. The creme de la creme, if you will. Here are my five favorite interior crushes from 2017:

Eat/Sleep/Wear’s Cool and Calm Bedroom

Kimberly Lapides of Eat/Sleep/Wear teamed up with Anne Sage to design this chic bedroom, and the result is the stuff of neutral dreams.

Sincerely Jules’ Office Tour

How ultra-inspiring is Sincerely Jules’ office? Designed in collaboration with Erick Garcia of Maison Trouvaille and Lulu & Georgia, the space is inspired by “her favorite light and airy Parisian pied-a-terres, along with Southern California rustic and eclectic design.” Never mind working here, I’d love it if I could live somewhere that looked like this.

A Chic NYC Apartment with Mid Century Modern Flair

The bedroom in this West Village apartment is my absolute favorite…especially that expertly-styled West Elm nightstand. The neon sign in the bathroom is a close second, though.

A Top Blogger’s Blush Abode

Marianna Hewitt’s Los Angeles home is everything you’d expect from the superstar blogger and YouTuber: a neutral palette with pops of blush and metallics and tons of Instagrammable touches. This is one I definitely wouldn’t mind coming home to every day.

Eclectic Minimalism in Southern California

This space was one of the first interior crushes I featured in 2017, and it remains one of the best home tours from the year. I love that the house is effortlessly chic and sophisticated, while still being liveable and appropriate for a family.

I love all these spaces so much, but I think Sincerely Jules’ office and Marianna Hewitt’s home might be my top two. What do you think? Did you have a favorite?
