Interior Crush: A Top Style Blogger’s Sophisticated Blush Abode – Abigail Nora

Okay, okay, okay, I know that I described the last interior crush as “glamorous,” but when a space is featured in HARPER’S BAZAAR I think it’s pretty safe to say that counts, too. Apparently I’ve just been into glam spaces lately, haven’t I?

This week’s interior crush is lifestyle influencer extraordinaire Marianna Hewitt. And, yes, her space has quite a bit in common with Nicolette Mason’s: both are bloggers who live in Los Angeles and have a penchant for all things feminine, glam and pink. However, each space reflects the personality of its owner — you definitely wouldn’t confuse their homes, just like you wouldn’t confuse their respective blogs. Marianna’s is a touch more sophisticated, streamlined and slightly trendier, while Nicolette’s space is decidedly more playful.

Marianna worked with Homepolish designer Talia Laconi to design a home that perfectly reflected her aesthetic, giving the space a “relaxed California vibe” with an off-white and blush palette. Since Marianna’s home doubles as her office and studio, all the blogger basics are there, too, like a gallery wall, Diptyque candles and chic coffee table books. Talia calls the effect “clean, cozy modern.”

Marianna’s vibe is clear as soon as you set foot in the entryway, above.

Her coffee table book collection is seriously on point.

My friend Kira recently wrote a post on why you should mix metals in your space… I think the bronze and silver combination in Marianna’s living room is totally proving her point, don’t you?

Gotta have a gallery wall and bar cart. Of course. Lots of Marianna’s art pieces are from affordable, accessible places like Urban Outfitters.

That Koons-esque balloon dog is actually from Etsy!

A shelfie worthy of a beauty and lifestyle influencer.

Marianna actually switched out the hardware on her West Elm dresser to give it a more expensive, high-end look… an easy and affordable fix anyone can do.

See how it all comes together in Marianna’s video home tour below. (Also, I’m dying to know how those roses last a whole year….)
