A while ago, I wrote about one of my favorite, unexpected sources for stylish activewear: ASOS. From Varley to Ivy Park, ASOS stocks some seriously chic athleisure brands. But sometimes, you just need some new, super cute gym outfits to motivate your fitness routine…and don’t necessarily want to drop $100+ on a pair of leggings.
That’s where the new activewear line ASOS 4505 comes in, and why I’m so excited to partner with them. For one thing, the collection is affordable: think price ranges from $16 to $80, with lots of leggings and tops in the $26-and-under range. (Ski gear gets a bit pricier, if that’s what you’re after.) But ASOS 4505 pieces are also technical, with sweat-wicking and antibacterial properties that will stand up to your sweatiest workouts.
Case in point: I’ve tested that colorblock crop in both SoulCycle and Barry’s Bootcamp already. It passed both (very sweaty) tests, keeping me mostly dry and fresh and, perhaps more importantly, not staying super sweaty post-workout.
And of course, I had to snag the coordinating leopard print set! Both pieces are seamless with a compression feel that make them perfect for yoga, pilates or barre. The fabric is a little bit thicker, so I wouldn’t do this look for a crazy-intense sweat sesh like HIIT or SoulCycle.
This top is definitely silkier and better for sweat-wicking. Oh, and also, the Dirty Chai Town is the BEST Barry’s Bootcamp fuel bar menu item and anyone who says otherwise is a liar.
Some fit notes: I’m never going to NOT have a booty (forgive the double negative), so I was pleasantly surprised when the size small/4 leggings fit pretty well. They are a bit stretched in the back, but not to the point of being see-through.
