If you resolved to up your fitness game in 2017, you might find yourself in need of more workout clothes. For one thing, you’ll be sweating more, but let’s be honest: they also serve as a pretty great motivator.
However, workout gear can get really expensive, really quickly if you just go crazy at Nordstrom or Lululemon or wherever. Not that I’ve done that. Luckily, Target is here to save the day for everyone else living the “champagne taste, tap water budget” lifestyle with me. (Because of course it’s Target to the rescue!) They currently carry two adorable, affordable activewear lines: one by fitness superstar and AKT founder Anna Kaiser, and the other by former reality star Whitney Port.
From cheeky graphic tanks emblazoned with sayings like “Gym Hair Don’t Care” to patterned leggings that will be the envy of the spin studio, Whitney and Anna have your cool-girl gym gear needs covered… and Anna’s line comes in plus and maternity sizes as well. And, of course, the pieces are cute enough to wear outside the studio, too.
Bonus: Target is hosting free AKT cardio “Happy Hour”-inspired workouts in New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Houston on January 12 and 13. Don’t live in any of those cities (ahem, me)? Target is live-streaming the New York City class on January 12 at 8pm EST/7pm CST on their Facebook page! Get all the details here. You can also download three free workouts from Anna created in honor of the collection on her website.
Here are 12 of the best pieces from Anna and Whitney’s collection. I’m super loving that asymmetrical sweatshirt, and will probably snag it and a couple of black tank tops to go with my ever-expanding leggings collection:
