Today’s interior crush is basically another edition of “if I worked here Mondays would definitely be bearable.” (See also: Sincerely Jules, Chriselle Lim, Create + Cultivate…) Designer Rebecca Taylor has been working out of this light, bright, 300 square foot space in New York’s Garment district since 2007. However, she wasn’t able to update it to truly match her aesthetic until last year.

Rebecca worked with Homepolish designer Tali Roth to infuse her love of color, texture and pattern into the office space. They actually painted a pink geometric pattern on the floor for the ultimate custom touch. It was important to Rebecca that the space reflect her personality: “You’re in your office more than even your home,” she explains. “When you’re an aesthetic person, it’s important to be inspired by your workspace.”

A peek at the custom pink patterned floor, which took a “good 12 hours” to measure, stencil and paint.

The fabulous floral wallpaper is by Ellie Cushman.

A floral and toile pattern mix that’s classic Rebecca Taylor.

The desk is actually a large BluDot dining table paired with pink Modernica shell chairs.

The inspiration board includes images and paintings by Rebecca’s husband, artist Wayne Pate. He says many are abstract portraits of her (aww).

What do you think of Rebecca’s fun, feminine space? Would you be inspired to work somewhere like this? Shop pieces inspired by her office below:
