Obsessed: Volume I

I used to do “Links Loved” every now and again, but let’s be honest… that felt a bit generic, didn’t it? So, this is a revamped version of that column. Instead of just rounding up somewhat interesting stuff across the internet, I’m going to share things that I am well-and-truly obsessed with, like stuff you should know, trending articles, products I don’t know how I lived without, and more! And since I tend to overuse the term “obsessed,” this should be a fairly frequent column.

Personally, I love discovering new apps, trends, products, etc etc etc from bloggers I follow. It makes me feel super trendy and ahead of the curve…and I want to share those discoveries with you. So “obsessed” will really only happen when I actually have good stuff to share, or the internet has a particularly good week. And, of course, please let me know what you’re digging lately in the comments! It’s all about sharing the latest finds and cool stuff with each other, and I know I’m certainly not the be-all-end-all of what’s trending (as much as I might like to pretend otherwise).

So, without further ado, the first volume of “obsessed” on A Little Leopard:

ONE. Emma Watson shares her #ITGTopShelfie on Into the Gloss this is not a drill. Girl opens up…like way up…to show us her daily beauty routine. I never knew this product existed, for instance, until I read about how Emma Watson uses it on all her hairs. No, really, allll her hairs. She’s very into sustainability and clean beauty, so if you are too, it’s most definitely worth a read. Sneak a peek at her go-to products below:

TWO. We’ve had a grocery store, a casino and now a rocket launch. I am talking, of course, about Chanel’s Fall 2017 show during Paris Fashion Week. Yes, there was a literal rocket. The clothes felt very classically Chanel, just, you know, updated with the occasional space blanket. And accompanied by a rocket launch. I love Amelia from Man Repeller’s take on the show (she was actually there, and also I just kind of love Amelia), and you can also see more on Vogue and The Zoe Report.

THREE. Have you guys heard of artist Amber Ibarreche? Bear with me, here, because the story of how I discovered her is kind of obnoxious…

I was at the Kings of Leon concert on Wednesday with my friend Lauren, and Sophia Bush was behind us in the sound box area. Yes, I kept glancing back at her like a total NERD. She was wearing a red top (for International Women’s Day, naturally) and a cool double-buckle western belt, and oh my goodness she is so pretty in person. Anyway, Sophia left shortly before the concert ended (#famouspeopleproblems), and I noticed her put on this super cool red flannel that said “I Only Fuck With Goddesses.” Lauren thought it was weird, I thought it was very cool, and a quick Google led me to…you guessed it…Amber Ibarreche. Here’s the flannel in question on Sophia’s Instagram. Sadly, it’s not currently available in Amber’s shop, but you can buy other cool stuff from her!

FOUR. I love love love packing guides. Like, probably more than the average person and possibly almost as much as the trip itself. That’s why I was super excited to discover that one of my favorite travel bloggers, Hitha Palepu of Hitha On The Go, just released her first book: How to Pack. I know, I know, it’s kind of like, wait, you need a book for that? Well, it’s super cute, it’s only $9 and it’s packed (ha) with practical tips, tricks, guides and lists for all kinds of trips. Mine arrived in the mail yesterday and I can’t wait to dive in!

FIVE. I have always been a huge fan of Gray Malin and majorly coveted one of his prints. Especially the Prada Marfa series. Well, they went on super duper sale a little bit ago and I decided to splurge and purchase my first Gray Malin piece! I was majorly debating between Dawn and Black and White Original, but I liked the tones in Dawn and thought it would add a nice element of color to my decor as I move toward a more neutral design palette. Prints still too pricey? Gray has also designed water bottles and trays that you can purchase at retailers like Neiman Marcus or his own site! And, of course, you can always grab his sprinkle carry on cocktail kit.
