Yes, Please: Sprinkle Carry On Cocktail Kits from Gray Malin – A Little Leopard

Some people don’t fly without eye masks, bottles of water or their favorite cashmere wrap. Kate Moss says she has a glass of red wine every time she flies — to help her sleep, of course. And I think from now on, my in flight necessity will be a Gray Malin carry on cocktail kit. Because sprinkles.

No but really, flying sucks, and you know what can totally 100% make it suck less? A sprinkle-rimmed vodka tonic complete with flamingo stirrer, that’s what. Any drink with a flamingo accessory is a good drink in my book. Case in point: the “pink flamingo” at Chicago’s Happy Camper, a dangerously delicious combination of tequila, pomegranate, lime, soda and jalapeño that is way too drinkable, complete with flamingo straw. Or as I tend to call it when I order it: “That flamingo drink please.”

Anyway, the Gray Malin Sprinkle Carry On Cocktail Kit comes with everything you need to make two “Beach Sprinkles Vodka Tonics” except for the lemon wedge, soda and the actual vodka. There’s even a step-by-step instruction card to guide you through the cocktail-making process, but it’s fairly simple: sprinkle your rim, add all ingredients, stir with flamingo stirrer, and enjoy! The kit also comes with a linen napkin, so you can class up your in-flight experience even if you are in coach with the rest of us peasants.

It was inspired by one of Gray’s holiday trips: he packed sprinkles in his carry-on, hoping to use them to bake. Instead, he used them on the rim of his in-flight drink. And thus, the Beach Sprinkles Vodka Tonic was born.

Gray partnered with W&P Designs to create the kit, which also sells classics carry-on cocktail kits like Moscow mules and gin and tonics. However, the beach sprinkles vodka tonic kit is only available on Gray Malin’s website. You can snag one right here, and thank me for making your flight that much better later. (You know what makes a great thank you gift? A carry-on cocktail kit, probably.)

Psst… the theme of this post is a bit of a preview to more travel-themed stuff in the future. Stay tuned!
