The Best Weekender Bags For Holiday Travel – A Little Leopard

It’s already November 11, which means the holidays are sneaking up faster than you can say “Starbucks Red Cups.” And with this most wonderful time of the year comes the inevitable holiday travel. Whether you’re hopping a train to the suburbs, driving a few hours home or flying somewhere, you want luggage that will get you there in style. Enter: the weekender.

Until this year, I’d been using old duffle bags and/or my actual suitcase when it came to holiday travels. (Shout out to my mom, for getting me this fab Anthro weekender for my birthday.) However, gym bags are much more suited to well, the gym. And suitcases? They’re just begging to be overpacked…and I am a chronic overpacker.

Weekender bags are perfect to carry-on, stash in your backseat or prop on a luggage rack, and they force you to bring a reasonable amount of stuff for a few days. Plus, with tons of gorgeous options at a variety of price points, you can find one to suit your taste and budget. Being the minimalist/color-shy girl that I am, nearly all my picks are are variation on black or brown. But – those are also timeless hues that ensure your weekender will stay stylish for many, many weekends to come.
